Our mission is to provide meaningful educational opportunities that respond to the diverse needs of our community, while working to fulfill the mission of Todd County School District.

The mission of the Todd County School system is Teaching, Caring, and Serving: Teaching all students from a rigorous and aligned curriculum; Caring by building positive mentoring relationships with all students; Serving by using varied, research-based instructional strategies that make learning relevant to the  needs of our students and the community.

Todd County Schools Superintendent Mark Thomas announces the new Community Education Director, Amy Chester. He said, “We are excited to have Mrs. Chester joining our school district and working in the capacity of Community Education Director.”
Amy graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Print and Editorial Journalism. She was employed for 23 years as a KY Probation and Parole Officer and Supervisor before she retired on August 1 of this year. She is currently employed as a reporter for WEKT and the Kentucky New Era and is a licensed KY real estate agent with Keller Williams.
Amy is a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Guthrie, loves to read and write, and enjoys traveling to see her daughter in the Air Force and to watch her son play college baseball. In addition to her two children, she has four bonus children and two bonus granddaughters. Originally from Smiths Grove, KY, Amy now resides in Trenton with her husband Tim and their dog Sage.
Amy is super excited for this career transition and for the newest phase in her life.
