TCCHS earns "Bronze" medal from US News

Todd County Central High School has earned a Bronze medal ranking in the US News & World Report's Best High Schools for 2015.  The magazine partners with a North Carolina-based research firm to evaluate high schools in the United States and publishes the rankings each year based on a three-step process. First, U.S. News looked at overall student performance on state-required exams. Then, they factored in how schools educated their least-advantaged students. And, finally, schools were assessed on how well they prepared students for college.  Of the nearly 30,000 high schools evaluated, slightly more than 6,700 were ranked Gold, Silver or Bronze. Five-hundred high schools received Gold medals, 2,027 earned Silver medals and 3,990 were awarded Bronze medals.
