TCCHS Graduate Jayde Robinson Honored

Jayde Robinson, from Elkton, KY, was named to the 2016-2017 River States Conference Women's Basketball Champions of Character Team.  This team is made up of players who best exhibit the five character values of the NAIA's Champions of Character program of respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship. Robinson averaged 7.19 points per game and scored a career high 19 points in the game against Midway in her first year as center for the Bearcats.  Congratualtions...

Logan Cherry Competes at KAAC State Governor's Cup

Logan Cherry, 6th grader at TCMS, competed at the KAAC State Governor's Cup competition at the Galt House in Louisville on March 12 and 13.  He represented Todd County by competing in the social studies written assessment along with 122 other students.   It was a great experience and we are very proud of Logan for representing Todd County Middle School and district!

Academic Awards Ceremony

The annual Academic Awards Ceremony was held on January 9, 2017 during the regular scheduled Todd County Board of Education meeting.  We are proud of all of our students and their achievements.  The students received academic awards for scoring all proficient and/or distinguished on Kentucky State Accountability Testing.  We had 379 students receive special individual academic awards.  Congratulations to the students, parents, and teachers!       ...

Spirit of Kentucky Award presented to TC Board of Education

Our State Representative, Mr. Jason Petrie, who represents the 16th District of Kentucky attended the January 9, 2017 Todd County School Board meeting.  He came to make a special presentation on behalf of Governor Bevin to the board members of the “Spirit of Kentucky Award.”  Mr. Petrie greeted the parents and students attending and the Todd County Board members.  He stayed for our annual academic awards which honors those students who scored proficient or distinguished...

STE Music Students Perform for the Elkton Rotary Club

Elkton Rotary Club President Jim Grable welcomed the students from STE to the Elkton Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.  The students had a chance to eat fried chicken and banana pudding with the Rotary members. South Todd Elementary Invitational Archery Tournament

The second annual South Todd Elementary Invitational Archery Tournament was held at Todd County Central High School December 9-10, 2016.  Twenty area teams participated in the event. South Todd Elementary, North Todd Elementary, and Todd County Middle School teams participated.  Mr. Perry Stokes was the Master of Ceremonies organizing the call to the line for competitors to shoot each round.   Our teams did an excellent job.  I congratulate all of our coaching staff and students....

NTE Music Students Perform at Elkton Rotary Club Meeting

Meet the Rebels

  Meet the Rebels was held Friday evening , November 18th.  The Todd County winter sports teams for Todd County Middle School and Todd County Central High School were introduced.  There was a good crowd on hand to cheer on the athletes as they begin preparing for the season play.  Be sure and check out the Rebel Sports Schedule and come enjoy supporting the Rebels this season.  As always, there will be good company and great food at the concession stand.  Go...

EMT Class Practices for Firetruck Driving Test

North Todd Family Night at Elkton Park

North Todd Elementary faculty and staff hosted a family night at Elkton Park on October 27th for students and family.  Mr. Voth cooked lots of hot dogs and played a mean game of four-square with the kids.  Games included charades, corn hole, four-square, basketball, and the park playground area. It was fun seeing the kids and their families enjoy the evening together.

EMT Training on October 22, 2016

Mrs. Judy Toombs was very pleased with the EMT training her students participated in this past Saturday.  The Todd County School District would like to give a special thank you to the Elkton and Fairview Fire Department and Todd County EMS for their help providing equipment and manpower.  This past Saturday the EMT students had four hours of fire training at Fairview Fire Department and the students learned several skills and information.  Mrs. Toombs is  enjoying teaching...

Lady Rebel Soccer's District Win!

Todd County Central High School held their annual homecoming events on September 22nd and 23rd. The Todd County Middle School Homecoming event was a wonderful time for the students, parents, and community.  The TCMS Football Team played well with some exciting passing plays and defense.  The TCMS Cheerleaders kept the crowd excited and entertained.  The TCMS Dance Team performed a spectacular dance routine.   I appreciate all the efforts by the students, coaches, faculty, and staff for organizing the homecoming activities.  I appreciate the support of the parents...

Question Regarding Bullying issues

What is the policy for bullying and the punishment for each offense? The student handbook for each school is located on the individual school's website homepage.  The discipline code as passed by each of the school's SBDM Council and approved by the Todd County Board of Education is outlined in the school's student handbook. Fire and EMT Hands on Training for TCCHS Students

Mrs. Judy Toombs, EMT Instructor at TCCHS, arranged for the Fire/EMT students to receive special hands-on training on September 7, 2016.  We are grateful to have Mrs. Toombs provide the courses for students to become certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. The students can also become trained as firefighters.  This is a great need in our area and throughout Kentucky.   The EMT certification provides students with the opportunity to work in area ambulance services upon...

Will there be a discount admission price for students to attend school sports events this year? The admission price of $5.00 per event is deterring students from attending. Yes, Todd County students will be allowed to enter at a discount.  Student admission will be $3.00. Rotary Bike Ride

The Clarksville Rotary Club sponsors a bicycle ride each year during Labor Day weekend as a fundraiser for their club. This year the bike ride was on September 5, 2016.  The bicyclists start in Clarksville and travel one of three possible rountes.  The riders can pick either the 100, 60, or 30 mile route.  Each route winds through much of rural Todd County.   The Elkton Rotary Club provides help at the Elkton, Guthrie, and Herman rest stops.  The Elkton Rotary Club uses...

TCCHS ACT 2016 Graduating Class Comparisons

ACT scores increase at Todd County Central High School Todd County Central High School results for the March 2015 administration of the ACT for the graduating class of 2016, show the class obtained a composite score of 18.6, which represented a 0.2 point overall gain in the overall composite score from 2015. Reading scores were the highest noted from the graduating class, with the largest increase in scores, with a score of 19.1. The score for English was 17.6, which was up 0.6 points from 2015. The TCMS Football team is ready to hit the grid iron and take on some of the area football teams.  The TCMS cheerleaders help get the crowd going and show their skills as they cheer on Todd County!   There are always friendly gate workers to meet and greet as you come to the games.
