TCCHS names a new head softball coach

Casey Williams has been hired as the Todd County Central High School Lady Rebels Softball Coach.  Williams was born and raised in Todd County and is an alumnus of TCCHS, graduating with the class of 1996.  While at TCCHS, Williams played baseball all four years.  After graduating TCCHS, Williams attended Lindsey Wilson College on a baseball scholarship. 

After college, Williams returned to Todd County where he served as the Assistant Baseball Coach at TCCHS from 2000-2006 and as Head Coach for the Rebels Baseball program from 2006-2011. While coaching baseball at TCCHS, Williams helped lead the Rebels Baseball Team to a District Championship. 

In recent years, Williams has been Assistant Softball Coach for Todd County Middle School from 2014-2017, and Head Coach of the TCMS program since 2017.  Williams was also an assistant coach for the TCCHS Lady Rebels Softball team from 2015-2018. 

Williams is married to Cindy Williams and has 2 daughters who attend TCCHS.  Williams is very excited for the opportunity to be the Head Coach for the TCCHS Lady Rebels Softball Team.  Coach Williams stated, “I am excited for this new challenge and can’t wait to help improve this program with the help from the school, the coaching staff, community and parents.”
