9 TCMS Band Students are selected to participate in the 2022 Middle School Quad State Honor Band at Murray State University. The Middle School Band Festival is always held on the Monday before Thanksgiving and features four honor bands selected by the Murray State Instrumental Faculty. Guest conductors from across the United States are contracted to work with the ensembles. This one-day event is highlighted by masterclasses given by the instrumental faculty, concerts by university ensembles, and a culminating concert by the four honor bands.
